My Doll Pets

You may have noticed in some of my posts that I have 2 pets for my dolls. In this post I'll tell you a little bit about these furry friends!
First we have Coconut. Coconut is an American Girl pet, but an older version. The only difference between my Coconut and the one being sold now is the collar. my Coconut has a purple and blue collar and the other one has a pink and orange one.

My other pet is just a regular stuffed rabbit. I named her Nutmeg because she reminds me of Julie's rabbit. She is a gingery color and soft.

I made the bow in her hair out of ribbon.

I have seen so many great ideas for cardboard doll beds so I decided to give it a try. If you want to make my doll bunk bed you need:
* two long water bottle boxes
* paint
* hot glue and hot glue gun
* four paper towel or toilet paper rolls
* ribbon (optional)

Your finished bed will look like this.

Emily and Kit are already napping on it!

First, hot glue your paper towel rolls to the corners of a box. Then, hot glue the other box on top. Last, paint your bed with what ever colors you like. Make sure your paint is dry before you put your dolls in the bed.

Happy Halloween: A Photo Story

Emily, Kit, and Ruthie were very excited to go trick or treating this tear. " Lets got to Rebecca's house first " said Emily. " She has the best surprises, " They all agreed. Ruthie knocked on Rebecca's door loudly.

" Coming! " shouted Rebecca. Rebeca opened the door. " Trick or treat! " said the three girls. " Hey guys " said a smiling Rebecca.

Rebecca handed each girl a beautiful hair clip. " Thank you, " said the girls. " Come on in! " said Rebecca as she went to the kitchen to make hot cocoa. The girls raced to the couch to warm up.

Rebecca returned with hot cocoa and a blanket.

" May I join you after we finish our cocoa? " asked Rebecca. " Of course " Kit answered. And the girls (and pets) had a happy Halloween.

* Tape
* Scissors

Step 1

Cut a large circle out of orange construction paper.

Step 5

Add a handle.

Your done! Now your doll has a beautiful treat bag for Halloween!

Product Review: Rebecca's PJs for Girls and dolls

I really like Rebecca's clothing, so I decided to buy her pjs for both me and my doll. For girls and dolls they are very expensive at $62 but are so cute! They aren't the softest pajamas because they're polyester but not uncomfortable at all. The sizes run HUGE so you might want to get a size smaller than you are. For some reason the doll pajamas are a one piece and the girls one isn't. The doll sized pjs come with a light blue ribbon to match.

American Girl Pets

The American Girl Pets are super cute, but really expensive so I came up with other ways an AG doll could have a pet.

Stuffed animals are good AG pets, and if you want to accessorize you can make a braided string collar with a charm in the middle and write the pet's name on it. To make a leash make a thinner braid of string and make a loop big enough for your doll's hand for the handle of your leash

To get some good photos take a picture of your doll walking her dog outside.
